1. Who we are

Saunders Intelligence is an Australian business based in Sydney, New South Wales, operated by Oliver Saunders. We build AI infrastructure for trade and service businesses, including NOVA, a custom AI training agent, and AI Citation Infrastructure, which structures businesses to be found and cited by AI search engines.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Your name and business name
• Your email address and phone number
• Your industry and team size
• Your website URL, where provided for an AI Citation Infrastructure enquiry
• Which product you are interested in (NOVA, AI Citation Infrastructure, or both)
• Any messages or enquiries you send us through our contact forms

We also collect standard technical data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This is collected via Netlify's hosting infrastructure.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your discovery call requests and enquiries
• Assess whether NOVA, AI Citation Infrastructure, or both are a suitable fit for your business
• Communicate with you about your enquiry or project
• Improve our website and services
• Send relevant follow-up information where you have indicated interest

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your contact form submissions are stored securely through Netlify's Forms service, which is hosted on servers in the United States. Netlify's Privacy Policy applies to data processed through their infrastructure.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

5. NOVA and AI Citation Infrastructure client data

If you become a NOVA client, your business documents, procedures, and knowledge base content are handled under the terms of your Service Agreement. In summary:

• Your business data is used solely to build and operate your NOVA deployment
• Your data is not shared with other clients or third parties
• Your NOVA is deployed using Anthropic's API — Anthropic does not use API data to train their models by default
• A mutual confidentiality clause in your Service Agreement protects your information for the duration of the engagement and two years beyond

If you become an AI Citation Infrastructure client, we work with your website content, business listings, and publicly available business information to build schema markup, entity footprint, and location-based content. This work is governed by your Service Agreement, and the same confidentiality protections apply.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how people navigate the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects technical data such as your approximate location, device type, and browsing behaviour on our site. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using browser extensions such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.

7. Third-party services

Our website uses the following third-party services:

• Netlify — hosting and form submissions (netlify.com)
• Google Analytics — website usage analytics (google.com/analytics)
• Google Fonts — typography loaded from Google's CDN
• Anthropic — AI model API used in NOVA deployments (anthropic.com)

Each of these services has their own Privacy Policy which governs how they handle data.

8. Your rights

Under Australian Privacy Law (Privacy Act 1988) and where applicable, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw consent to receive communications from us

9. Data retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain business records. If you request deletion of your data, we will action this within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
